"He puzzled and puzzled till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more! And what happened then? Well, in Whoville they say that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day. And then - the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of *ten* Grinches, plus two!" from Dr. Seuss--How The Grinch Stole Christmas. This is my favorite part of the story. Such pretty words and so true too!

{ 25 Days of Christmas---Day 9 }

Reading together is our favorite thing to do. On this cold December night we read, How the Grinch Stole Christmas by the beloved Dr. Seuss. My little Queen of Fairies loves how I change my voice to match the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who. It is a Christmas favorite! I love snuggling in her bed reading together and tangling our legs up under the covers with each other. Sometimes Custard Kitty comes in and starts knocking things off the shelf with his tail and we have to stop and put him out of the room and then we get back under the covers and tangle our legs up all all over again and turn to the page where we last left off.
