{25 Days of Christmas-Day 3}

Oh how I love Tiffany blue! Aren't these ornaments super beautiful displayed in cake stands? What a nice idea! ....and far less fattening than cake. We were in Savannah, Georgia one weekend and I was on the other side of the street when I saw these ornaments through a shop window. Anything Tiffany blue attracts me like a June bug to a porch screen door. The shop keeper was an aging southern gentleman complete in his 3 piece suit, silver hair, and a Georgia southern accent that made me feel like saying things such as, "Oh Rhett, wherever shall I go? Whatever shall I do?" -Just like Scarlet O'Hara. The nice thing about this scenario is that he wouldn't respond with, "Frankly, my dear. I don't give a damn." Instead, he'd say, "Here Scarlet. Have a pretty Tiffany blue ornament." Merry 3rd Day of Christmas!

Crazy About This Ornament Idea

I am so gonna stock up on these glass globe ornaments. I am already thinking of all the pretty trinkets and treasures I can place inside each ornament. We live on the northeast coast of Florida, so I am thinking it would be a great idea to fill some of these ornaments with our pretty white powdery sand from the beach and a few shells and send off as gifts to family in Texas.

I can't wait to start decorating for Christmas! I love doves and all that they represent which is why I love this Peace on Earth  tree. It is simple and yet, really pretty. Also, notice the scattering of white feathers below the tree limbs? I really like that little extra touch.
